Different ways to move opportunities forward.
Research partners, universities, companies, experts, sponsors and investors have different goals. We keep those relationships separate, protect each Case and agree scope and rights explicitly.
Research Partner
Bring real-world technology, engineering and research Cases to help validate and improve the assessment method. Scope, confidentiality and any permitted research reuse are agreed separately. An agreed pool of Research Units may be made available without charge under a research cooperation arrangement.
Sponsored Access
Companies, foundations, donors and public institutions may fund assessment access for a defined audience: researchers, universities, startup cohorts or businesses. Commercial terms and Research Unit volumes are agreed privately. Sponsorship funds opportunity discovery; it does not confer access to private Cases, user ideas, patents or personal data. Project-level introductions require explicit user consent.
Corporate & Innovation Portfolio Access
Engineering groups, R&D teams, corporate venture units and innovation managers can explore screening multiple proposals or internal technical challenges with a consistent decision method. We discuss pilot scope, organizational access and commercial terms individually; a full enterprise platform or service-level agreement is not implied.
University & R&D Co-development
We seek universities willing to co-design and validate a practical educational product around scientific and technical problem solving. A research pilot and academic evaluation come first. A university may also buy preferential institutional access or receive access funded by an independent sponsor — distinct from co-development.
Development Partner
Partners can finance agreed modules, pilots or roadmap priorities. Early access, pilot rights, preferred terms and progress briefings may be negotiated. Financing development does not automatically convey CheckOpp intellectual property.
Investors, VC & Corporate Venture
CheckOpp supports early-stage technology screening, risk discovery and mapping alternative paths. Strategic and equity financing can be discussed directly, with valuation, structure and use of funds agreed privately. No unverified traction or return projections are asserted.
Professional Experts & Consultants
Engineering firms, technical specialists, commercial experts and IP/legal professionals can collaborate around already-structured Cases and focused questions. A scalable expert network is a future direction, not a claim of an operating marketplace.
Strategic Licensing & Acquisition
We are open to conversations about licensing the methodology and related software, exclusive-use arrangements or wider acquisition. Scope, IP rights, third-party components, diligence and transfer terms require a separate agreement.
Why structured analysis matters for organizations
The bottleneck is not access to an AI model. It is qualified human attention. Our illustrative benchmark for screening a portfolio of 20 ideas is approximately 240–600 specialist-hours manually, 80–200 hours using generic AI with qualified checking, or 10–40 human review-hours with CheckOpp.
These are planning estimates, not measured performance or a guaranteed productivity claim. They must be validated with real-world deployment data.
