Decision support, not certified design CheckOpp provides structured assessment, research, calculations, comparisons, hypotheses and decision-support material. Unless a separate written engagement expressly states otherwise, CheckOpp output is not construction/execution design documentation, a licensed engineer's signed design, conformity assessment, regulatory approval, safety certification, commissioning acceptance, laboratory test report, legal advice, tax advice, investment advice or patent opinion. 2. Preliminary calculations Technical, economic and energy calculations may be estimates based on assumptions, public information, User Materials, simplified models or incomplete inputs. Before implementation, critical calculations should be independently checked against final design conditions, applicable standards, manufacturer data and site-specific requirements. 3. Codes, standards and regulations CheckOpp may identify potentially relevant standards, regulations or certification routes, but does not guarantee that every applicable requirement has been identified. The implementing party is responsible for obtaining competent local advice and all legally required approvals. 4. Equipment and supplier information Manufacturer specifications, prices, availability, lead times and product claims can change. External information should be reconfirmed before procurement or contractual commitment. 5. Safety Where a concept affects electrical safety, pressure systems, fire safety, structural integrity, machinery, hazardous materials, thermal systems, energy systems, medical use or other safety-critical areas, implementation must be reviewed by appropriately qualified professionals and tested as required. 6. Commercialization An identified technical opportunity does not guarantee customer demand, financing, profitability, regulatory acceptance, patent protection or market success. 7. Expert review Human expert review within CheckOpp is a controlled analytical review unless the user separately contracts for a regulated professional service requiring a specific licence, seal, certification or statutory responsibility. 8. User responsibility The user is responsible for determining whether a CheckOpp output is sufficiently verified for the decision they intend to make.
