AI & Automated Analysis Notice

Version 2026-09-28-v1 · effective 28/09/2026

AI & Automated Analysis Notice Status: Draft for review — not yet published. 1. AI-assisted service CheckOpp uses artificial-intelligence and automated processing tools to help structure, analyze and compare technical, commercial and project information. AI may be used to extract and organize information from User Materials; identify assumptions, contradictions and missing evidence; generate research questions and verification plans; compare technical routes and opportunity hypotheses; draft structured assessments; support ARITZ-based analysis; and prepare material for human review. 2. AI is not an independent authority An AI-generated statement is not treated as true merely because a model produced it. CheckOpp distinguishes, where relevant, between source evidence, user-provided statements, calculated estimates, assumptions, model-generated hypotheses and human review. 3. Limitations AI systems can produce incorrect, incomplete, outdated or overconfident output. They may misunderstand drawings, tables, context, units, terminology or commercial conditions. Result quality also depends on the quality and completeness of User Materials. 4. Verification Where a conclusion matters to a decision, CheckOpp may require additional evidence, external research, calculations, tests, specialist review or user clarification. A result may expressly state STOP, HOLD, NEEDS INPUT, NEEDS REVIEW or another gate where evidence is insufficient. 5. Human review Some Cases may be assigned to an authorized expert or operator. Human review does not convert the service into a formal certification or licensed professional sign-off unless a separate engagement expressly says so. 6. High-impact and safety-critical use Users must not rely on an AI-assisted CheckOpp output as the sole basis for a decision where failure could cause death, injury, major property damage, regulatory non-compliance or another material safety consequence. Independent qualified review, testing and legally required approvals remain necessary. 7. Data processing by model providers Information relevant to the requested task may be transmitted to external AI/model providers. Such processing is limited to what is reasonably necessary to provide the requested analysis and is subject to applicable provider and service arrangements. See the Privacy Policy. 8. No guarantee of novelty or patentability AI-assisted idea generation or ARITZ analysis does not establish novelty, inventive step, patentability, inventorship, ownership or freedom to operate. 9. User responsibility The user remains responsible for deciding whether and how to act on CheckOpp output and for obtaining professional, regulatory, contractual or technical review required for implementation. 10. Changes This notice may be updated as CheckOpp changes its use of models, automation and human review.
